Completely Terrible

Tragedy of Epic Proportions

The volcanic eruption struck suddenly, consuming entire cities in its wake. Buildings crumbled like house of cards, and the chaos that erupted was deafening. Dreadful Day Ever

It all started with an case of bedhead hair. I couldn't figure it to look decent. As I was getting ready out the door, I fell and spilled all over my new shoes. To make matters worse, I was extremely late for school.

I in a state of utter panic. My {boss|mentor|was absolutely furious. I tried to explain, but it was pointless.

The rest of the day was even worse. Everything. I get anything done.

By the time I got home, I was exhausted. This day, this terrible day will be forever remembered as a day to forget.

It all started out horribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then things went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, website leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
